The Mechatronics club faced the power of GEER week for the first time in January of 2026. Discipline clubs from far and wide to face mechatronics as this new phantom menace.
The week was defined by excitement throughout the events. The Mechatronics club accomplished impressive competitions, including a second-place finish on the events opening day, several second and third place finishes and the club’s first-ever GEER week event win with a towering poster hanging in ETLC. The week also showed the unique creativity and thinking of the club. Mechatronics presented a one-of-a-kind animated film to the movie night, a reproduction of the Galactic Senate built entirely from cereal boxes for Canstruction, and a terrifying rendition of Duel of the Fates at Battle of the Bands. The competition is certain to be one for the ages.
